Notts 2 history wanted

Hello all,
New to this forum though have been lurking for a while.
I've been caving a couple of years.  Done horizontal stuff in mendip and wales but have started srt and ventured to Yorkshire a few times.  One of the caves on my 'to do' list is notts pot and I like to read around the caves before I go down them.  Is there any written accounts of the digging out the dry entrance to Notts 2 cave.
If anyone could give me any pointers to where to look I would be grateful. 
I have read the npc account of the diving but interested in how the dry entrance came about.

Hi Terry

There is quite a big chunck of stuff on Notts II, its opening and subsequent extensions, in the forthcomming Red Rose Cave & Pothole Club Journal. This is due for publication in the next few weeks.

Enjoyed the article above by Dick Gerrish. I am blown away by the dedication of the diggers.  How did they know to dig there first -was it matched up over the survey? 
Can I clarify are comittee pot and iron kiln hole the same place? Did they change the name when the dig broke through?
Beardy - Where will I be able to buy a copy of the journal?
