Notts Pot Adamson's Route

Does anyone know when the stemples (just before Birthday Pot) were installed in Adamson's Route, Notts Pot?

Just curious how they came to be there.

I think that they have been there about five years. When the original route which crossed a boulder bridge accessed from a small phreatic passage in the roof collapsed in about 1970, LUSS installed a railway signal ladder to get to the same place from below. This was replaced by the stemples.

Having checked back through some correspondence, I now think that the stemples in Notts was installed in late 2014 to early 2015. Time flies when one is an old man...
