Nova 3 Plastic Lens Cover

Bit of a long shot.

Anyone know where I can get a new(ish) plastic lens for my Nova 3.

Alternately any suggestions for polishing the many scratches out of my lens.

I use this light for digging so being able to see well is not essential, or sometimes even desirable. But on balance I would like to replace my badly scratched lens cover with a less badly scratched one.

You might be able to polish out some of the scratches with something like jeweller's rouge.  But then again, it might make things worse with a plastic lens...

I recently tried this on a GoPro case and had no luck, never got it back to clear, even using an orbital polisher.

For a new lens try Bernies.
To polish the lens try T Cut or Brasso.  You may find it easier  to wrap the cloth around something like a cd case and move the lens with the tip of your finger

I emailed Bernies a while back for the same thing and they said they'd had no Speleo parts for a long time, I also tweeted Inglesport who said they had none and rang Caving Supplies though I can't remember what they said though I imagine the thought of the P&P from Derbyshire would have put me off.

An absorbant cloth ( cotton T shirt?) with a dose of T Cut or Brasso, wrapped round a fairly hard bit of foam (Karimat?) and a bit of effort (elbow grease) has sorted this for me in the past.

Silvo can be a good finisher.
