Fabulous photo. I had great fun launching carrier bags high into the air when we uncorked a long-blocked lead mine adit ten years ago - it blew like a monster for days until it equalised, but even now is capable of delivering a hefty outward blast in the right atmospheric conditions.

How do you read slower? It's always puzzled me.

You could hold the bulletin upside down. Much slower that way, but still do-able, as anyone who has been called in to see the Headmaster* will attest, as you scan the documents on his desk.

* Called in to see the Headmaster isn?t a euphemism, just to be clear. At least it wasn?t meant to be. I also (in these more enlightened times), recognise that it may have been a Headmistress.

I think they use "the Head" now, presumably because of not wanting to 'mis gender'. or presumably using the word mistress is a bit Risqu?, still not quite sure head is much better.  :-\
