Not when I was there. You'll need one anyway to get up the entrance climb, so you can then take it further in for the chamber pitch.

Last time I was there, which was admittedly quite a few years back, I seem to recall there was a standard ladder up to the entrance hole, I take it this has been removed?

We had a wooden builders ladder when the digging was ongoing but usually took it with us each digging trip. The bolts for using an electron ladder have been in place for quite some time although it can be climbed with care.

Hi , All ladders have been removed for safeties sake awhile ago now. Although digging is in progress at the pigs trotters.
