Pantin: Left or Right Foot

I have a right handled jammer and a right foot Pantin, and when ropewalking, I tend to walk with both hands on top of my jammer, and when I don't have both hands on the jammer, I think I'd tend to have the left hand on top of the jammer and the right hand higher up the rope, though that might tend to be something I'd do more when against a wall, where imbalance might be less of an issue.

To the extent that my hands are largely pulling me into the rope rather than giving upthrust I'm not sure how much symmetry matters, at least for the amount of ropewalking I do.

I don't think it feels as unbalanced as single-leg frogging with both left hand+foot or right hand+foot would, and even that is something that seems to get less unbalanced with practice.
Using a chicken loop on the left foot, sometimes I might get to a short pitch with footloop fixed to foot and climb with my left hand on the hand jammer and right hand pulling rope through, not bothering with the Pantin. Initially that felt really wrong compared to the standard right foot/left hand arrangement, but it seemed to get rather more bearable with practice, at least for the short pitches I might use it on.
