Peak Caving 5/6th Feb

Hi,

I'm off down to the Peak next weekend. I have a partner for the Friday and Monday but he's dumped me for Sat 5th and Sun 6th. :cautious: Is anyone planning any trips and wouldn't mind if I tagged along? Or is anyone thinking "I want to go caving next weekend but I've got no-one to go with - if only some chubby bloke from Yorkshire was stopping in Edale YHA and wanted to go out and practice lots of rigging and srt whilst also having fun in caves. He's happy to buy a pint or two to be shown around but he's not all that keen on tight squeezes".
Please PM me or just reply here.
Many Thanks
George

Where in Derbyshire are you going to have fun without squeezes ?    :)
If you're in Edale YHA, why not take a walk into Castleton on the Saturday and ask if any of the TSG are going underground..
It's not far to walk with a rucksack full of gear.. Plus you'll e able to fit through te squeezes afterward!!    :)

I like your thinking Jam! It's not so much my belly that won't fit through - it's my head that won't allow it?
Someone from the TSG has been in touch so I might find a fellow wimp!

Cheers

The Tight squeeze thing is a first for me next weekend :doubt: I've even managed to loose a few grams just for the occasion

Don't worry, its not going to be a problem, if we leave the rope in, when if you get stuck, I can always go back out on the way we went in

Thank me later
