God damn it mine bloody leaked on me 2 days ago, now granted it was submerged for some period of time but i was shocked upon opening it that my S5500 was slightly damp and a small pool of water had gathered under the foam .......... i have only used it twice and both those times i left it open and cleaned the seal.

My only thought is that i may have caught the strap in the lid :roll:

That's pretty bad - I'd run a test on it....submerge in your bath overnight or something and if it fails then claim for a new one.
