Pollution in Giants

On our trip Saturday 22nd May, we noticed a foul stench in the Crab Walk and traced the source of it - a rather large turd in the streamway...
Lovely!
Not sure how long it has been there but a group who were there the previous weekend had noticed a strange smell in the same area too.
Anyone planning a trip please be aware and probably wise not to drink the cave water.
It was spotted a short distance before the Razors Edge climb down.
Hopefully some rain weather will clear it all soon.

On that occasion, members of the Engedi Caving Club were in favour of carrying out summary justice, but the club chairman contented himself with carving a chunk out of the culprit's oversuit.
