I'm looking for suggestions for Mendip photo caving a trip with no ladders/ropework. I had a c-section and my stomach muscles are not what they were but I can manage a pootle/photo trip. Any recommendations for entrance series?  It's been a few years since last trip and can't remember!

Depends what you are able to manage.
Swildons entrance series has virtually unlimited photo potential providing you can manage Binnies Link and Jacobs Ladder.

If you are looking for easier than that, then I'd highly recommend a mine or two.
Sandford Levy and Compton Martin Ochre Mine both have lots of fantastic details to photograph as well as mine shaped passages. Intending to take my big camera back to both of these mines soon. Note: Compton Martin Ochre Mine is up a steep slippery slope which may or may not be too much for you at the moment; access Sandford Levy is totally straightforward.

Somebody is bound to say Goatchurch, but in terms of photos it doesn't float my boat...
Mind you, earlier this year someone posted a fantastic photo of Aveline's Hole, so anything's possible!

I would think Goatchurch is about the worst cave if recovering from a c-section, it's so slipery it puts a lot of strain on the abdominal muscles.

Mines on the other hand are probably ideal as they can offer an escape to the underground while not requiring anything too physically demanding (y)

That said it all depends how long since the c-section and also if the baby's going caving too ;)

Browne's Hole on east Mendip, Denny's Hole out west, or Ogof Clogwyn if you want to go a bit further (all have steep approaches)

No baby just mummy (wa hoo) - 12 weeks since op but I know my muscles have not knitted back completely yet so I want some light exercise but nothing over the top. Iv not been underground in a few years and really looking forward to the opportunity.

Thanks all for suggestions  (y)

I took my son into Goatchurch when he was about 12 weeks old, but it wasn't me who had the c-section  ;)
(his mummy stayed outside)

He didn't even humour me enough to wake up for a photo though...

Oh taking my little girl into Goatchurch will happen one day, but I'll wait until she can see it for what it is - and underground playground full of slides!

White Spot Cave is my favourite, so long as you can make the steep slope up to the entrance.

White Spot would be totally unsuitable, even with a rope to get up the slope in the cave. Pulling up over the draughting hole 3 or 4 metres below the barrier would be very hard on stomach muscles.
Getting to the entrance is easy in comparison.

Denny's would be a bit of a nightmare at the moment with wet leaves on the ground, getting out would require a handline, and would probably pull on muscles.

Not quite Mendip, but I visited Brownes Foly Mine last week and really enjoyed it, although a mine still formations to see, lots of historical artwork etc. Only issue is there's a small muddy hole to crawl through intitially, but the rest is walking passage unless you seek out crawls. You'd need a good survey.

I have never been down the drop at the end of the cave.  I always send the wife with a flash slave gun.  They are both expendable.

Did a photo 'trip' in Avelines - I know not even worth getting ya kit on right? But it was fun and great to be back in Mendip.  Nice to have been off the scene for a wile and still bump into friendly faces  (y)

If you are after walk in/walk out type caves also worth a look at Rowberrow Cavern, GPS helps with location!
