The footpath between the A37 Three Lamps junction and the Bristol Dogs home is closed until Nov 24th '14. This is carry out repairs to the river crossing according to the notice.
I had hoped to make a visit to Ravens Well before work on the Bristol Arena started, incase any of the foundation work etc... On the former diesel yard caused damage or they decided to close the existing entry point.
The three lamps end of the path has been pretty comprehensively fenced off.
