Recent server issues

You will probably have noticed that the site has become quite unstable at peak hours - this is because the creaking old server has finally reached it's limits and ukbouldering is getting more and more popular - of course what happens on ukb also affects ukcaving....

....but fear not, a new spanky server setup is being installed which should get everything running smoothly again.

Was hoping it would be in for today's lunchtime rush, but alas no. Shouldn't take too much longer.

The server has been upgraded.

There will be some tweaking necessary to get the best from the new setup but in the meantime we're hoping for much higher uptime, especially at peak periods such as weekday lunchtimes.
