Replacing a Warmbac Lightweight Oversuit

Hello cave people.  After a recent trip down Otter Hole, my trusty Warmbac Lightweight suit has developed holes in some frankly indecent places.  I'd really like to replace it like for like, but having tried the new version of the same I couldn't see it lasting too long in my local Mendip wriggles.

Is there anything similar out there that people know of that I should try?  Any advice would be gratefully received.  I've tried the full weight one, but I do like a bit of mobility while I'm caving.

Some background information:  I'm a big fan of sporting caves (climbing, wriggling about, wandering around caves until I can't see straight etc) I mostly cave on Mendip, don't dig and I'd never hear the end of it if I rocked up to go caving wearing an oversuit with the word "Beaver" emblazoned on the front.

So that's it.  Any suggestions?

Warmbac make a hybrid suit (for outdoor centre use - but there's no reason why cavers such as yourself shouldn't benefit from them!) which is lightweight where needed and the heavier duty cordura on the friction surfaces (elbows, knees, backside/thighs) etc.. IIRC they're similarly priced to their usual range. Should fit the bill well, perhaps.

bought my new suit from starless river, AV, bit pricey but it is by far the best suit I have bought, which so far is the warmbac lightweight suit and the beaver oversuit  ;)

I would also recommend the AV suit if price is not your first concern. Its very flexible and both better shaped and more waterproof than a Warmback.

Thanks Folks.  Two interesting options here.  Can't see the hybrid on Warmbac's site so I might pick up the phone and ask.  Like the sound of the AV one too - decent kit's worth a few quid extra.  Might need a trip up North to try one on though...

Thanks again.  Appreciate the info.

dont need to go north, but a good excuse, starless river has a mobile shop often found at the wessex cave hut, sure if you e-mail them on there website they can tell you when they will be on mendip

I second that.
