The Wessex Cave Club is producing the book : 'Swildons' Hole - A Hundred Years of Exploration'. This will give a history of exploration of the cave to date, together with a detailed description of the cave passages and features, with an explanation of its geology and hydrology. Make sure that you don't miss out on securing a copy of this book by completing a reservation form and returning it to Brian Prewer c/o Upper Pitts or email Geoff Ballard at the e-mail address below indicating how many copies you wish to reserve, to request additional flyers or to discuss retailing terms. Demand is already high and the print run limited so be sure that you secure a copy of this definitive guide. Click here to see Swildons Flyer

Hey, Geo... sorry, Badger, why do WCC have their own forum which hardly anyone is using rather than having their forum here amid a marvellous array of other club forums? I suppose it's a question for your webmaster really.

Also, please don't cross post the same thing in more than one forum - I've deleted the other two posts.

As Mr M. has very kindly pointed out there have been a few delays however unlike some other publications available we have thoroughly visited every part of the system, bolted and rebolted routes and have generated new surveys - for some the wait will be worth it.

Sorry, don't mean to mock, but I do remember asking Wig to give a lecture on the

"History of the Cuthbert's Report".

He'd have hit me if he'd been fast enough.
