Reservoir Hole. An Appreciation

Finished. Photobox got a bit " sticky " at times so I just refreshed the page. Perhaps it is worth remembering that -

All photos were taken on a TG2 or TG5 Olympus pocket camera.
None of the images took more than a minute or two to take.
Normally lighting was on board flash with Scurion lamp highlights or for background detail to add balance. A few were done in Olympus Live Composite Mode on a tripod.
A few had slave fired single flash and on board flash.
Some where vertical images cropped to horizontal so resolution might suffer there.
The TG's can be used underwater though obviously framing and focusing is awkward. You get what you get.
Some photos were on the original discovery before taping so can never be repeated.
Macro shots tend to be as good or even better with this sort of camera rather than a 35mm.
Some images were IAuto with flash turned off . Camera ramps up the ISO and fully opens the shutter.
I have a lot of good vertical shots that could not be cropped to horizontal without ruining the balance. Most of my High Country " Naughty Knobs " are vertical.

Cave photography need not be difficult or require expensive kit and lots of time. Remember to share.

No cavers were embarrassed during the sessions or photographs seen here. :halo:

I doubt the ruddy link works. It does for me but seems to go adrift when posted here for others.

The two collages are back from Berlin. They look huge and will cost a lot to mount and frame. Will try to rephotograph them and add them here.
