Review of Fenix HP 10

hi there i have been using the fenix hp10 now for about a year, it has mostly been digging about 2 3 times a week. i am very impressed with how bright the high level setting is, you can also change between low meduim high and turbo setting. the turbo does only run for 3 minutes, but you can select turbo straight away again. when the battery runs low it switch's you to the low level setting, which run's for a long time not managed to completely kill the light yet. the beam pattern is not to bad, you have a good spot and enough spill for you cave with, and see what you are doing. the battery box is waterproof as is the light, i thought the cable for the light and clips for head strap looked weak, but have had no problems as of yet. all round for ?50 it's a pretty good light

Like chris1984 I've been using a Fenix HP 10 for about a year, and I also am very pleased with it. I normally use it on setting 3, which lasts about 8 hours on 2650 mA rechargeables and gives a very good light. On a really long trip setting 2 would be more  than adequate for most passages.
