Ryan air baggage changes

This is for info only for all those who have flown Ryan air.
The "on board baggage " allowance has changed for the better. 2 bags are now allowed.
One cabin bag per passenger* weighing up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, plus 1 small bag up to 35 x 20 x 20 cms

However, the pre flight size checker things they use, the blue "does your bag fit" frames, have changed to solid walled versions.

This  only effects people who in the past, like me,  may have been able to squeeze an oversized bag in, due to the design of the checker.

There were quite a few of us on a return flight from Lanzarote getting caught out with this.
We flew out on one bag checker only to fly back with a different one that many of our bags didnt fit in.

Fortunately Ryanair weren't to fussed and let us all through free of charge because of the change of checkers occurring whilst away.

So this post is just a heads up.
