Save me a walk up a hill

Just looking at my new Dark Peak 25000 map, I see there are a bunch of shake holes marked at 073 845, and some springs at 074 838

I don't know of any caves in that area, anybody ever looked at this area. I'd go over and have a look, but perhaps I can save a trip if there is any info on this area...

No nothing but peat bog and sheep, the cowburn tunnel air shaft is pretty impressive though about 800ft deep

Well thats what I thought... but the OS clearly says "Shake Holes"...

OS maps sometimes refer to mine shaft collapses as Shake Holes soI'm a bit puzzled..

The aerial photo below certainly looks like shake holes OR a shallow mine rake...
