I have it on good authority that Somerset County Council are considering selling the small bit of land at the front of Sayes Hole in Cheddar.  Allegedly one possibility is to sell it to Longleat.  Just thought this might be of interest to someone... The person to contact at Somerset CC is the Countryside and Coast Manager (Phil Stone).
