Scouts on Mendip

At the weekend we gave 20 scouts from Wests Sussex a weekend in Somerset, Saturday in Burrington and Sunday in Swildons. We have been taking this group since 2014. Whilst the youngsters we enjoying them selves underground one of the leaders(who wished he could have been underground, medical issues) took it upon himself to clear 2 bin bags of rubbish from the parking area we use and the surrounding area. The feedback from the scouts has been excellent, and I am sure they will be back for more next year

Good to see you all down Goatchurch on Saturday Paul, and fantastic to see so many young folk enjoying themselves underground, even if we had to queue a little!
