This would ordinarily be a topic for the Irish board, but I'm trying to locate some English cavers that were over here a few years back...
Back around 1996-7 some cavers came over and were digging in Leglass Caverns, on West Cuilcagh in Co. Cavan. They drew a survey of the cave and dig and submitted it to one of the editors of Caves of Fermanagh and Cavan but unfortunately too late for it to reach print. Said editor (ahem, and Descent sub-editor) still has the survey but can't recall who submitted it to him!
Members of the Shannon Group recently heard about the efforts and the survey, and have been back to investigate the site -- we're looking to get in touch with whoever was involved at the time, or to find out if any reports were written and published anywhere that might help us... does anyone have any info?
