Does any know if is is still possible to do the Great aven pitch as a pull through, after the collapse a few years back

It was open in August 2005 for sure and that was after the colapse. I'd check with Swindlesports to be sure.

Just for those that don't go `down' very often, just checkin' that the through trip from Swinsto ans Simpsons is Ok; I'd heard ages ago there'd been a collapse and the through trip wasnt poss., but that was when I had no contacts and there was no forum such as this one. (If there was a collapse, where was it and when was it cleared?)....thanks...kevYes, Kevin, the route is open.
To my knowledge it was never actually sealed by the rockfall, but rather there was concern that were there to be another rockfall, it could mean the way through was blocked ... causing people problems if they had pulled through. As a result of this notices were put at the entrances to Swinsto and Simpsons. However, to my knowledge nothing has moved since and everybody is happy doing pull-thrus again.
The initial rock fall was at the bottom of the final short, wet pitch just below Slit Pot.
