Snailbeach on Countryfile today (19/7/20)

Ellie Harrison, a cameraman director and a sound recorder / drone pilot came along to Snailbeach about 3 weeks ago.  It will be screened on the Beeb at 16.30 today. It features Steve Holding showing her around , there will be some IA recordings archive footage and some B&W photos. Ellie was banned from underground by the Insurance Company (to do with Covid I understand)

There were just Steve and  myself with my pooch facilitating the filming

A bit disappointing.  The mining is only in the last 10 minutes,

It is a Countryside programme and the theme was really about nature and linking the Stiperstones and Long Mynd Hills through farming changes and wildlife routes. I think it was rather well done particularly as the underground footage was taken over 30 years by IA recordings and had used broadcast Quality filming rather than a phone camera which at that time didn't exist in a usable form
