srt/ caver friendly climbing walls?

Hi all.
This has probably been brought up before but I cant find a thread.

With all this sun were having I fancy a few hours on a wall somewhere playing with some new toys ive had about a year.

Is there anywhere caver friendly or a specific srt wall around Buxton, or further a field that you know of?

Unfortunately, it's a whole lot further afield......

White Spider Climbing in Tolworth, Surrey, is very caver friendly.

Probably not so convenient for you though.

I used to train at Rope Race in Marple. It was in an old converted mill. Don't know if it is still going, but they were happy for SRT practice. They had a 12m pitch and you could put your own ropes in as well.

Alderley Edge has plenty of dry, warm pitches - join the DCC!

Pindale Farm nr Hope has an excellent outdoor facility which I use regularly. Not dry or warm but ideal as a training venue. Just give Alan a call.

I second Rope Race at Marple, There is a place at Longnor the daughter used to use, I think its still going, can't recall the name.

If anyone wants to play at Alderley then give me a shout! Plenty to choose from largest continuous pitch is 55m, we also have a 50m pitch with a bridge ideal for hanging re-belay practice too.

Dartrock in buckfastleigh devon are opening a cave bouldering room this week with a large stal to climb around lots of overhangs etc and on top of this they have built a round trip in behind the walls with a couple of squeezes and a ballpool sump!! Fun times
