Should anyone wish to have look at the new AV oversuits, or the MTDE undersuits, or indeed any number of shiny bits of nice kit - then the shop will be on the road and in the area of BPF on Saturday between about 09.00 and 17.00.

Cash or cheque only, I'm afraid - no internet / mobile access for card readers so far from civilisation!

Best wishes to you all -

Tony

Apologies in advance to anyone who was going to turn up to the YSS this weekend. Turns out that the YSS will be full of SARDA members this weekend; and as they're not all notably cavers I'll be down in the Peak instead.

A Dales visit will be rearranged for the next month; and I'll post on here, as well as the website so that everyone knows where to catch us.

Or call! I'm sometimes over in the Dales midweek and have been known to take kit with me for interested parties...

An inquiring mind is always a valuable trait!

If you check out the webshop at

www.starlessriver.com

then you'll see that there are various bits of kit coming on to the market that haven't been generally seen before in the UK.

The Starless River mobile shop -and indeed the website- are good ways of seeing what's available. Some of the gear is really quite interesting (I can say that without sounding big headed, I've only sourced it not made it.)

Otherwise, pop over to the stand at Hidden Earth!

Never any harm in looking at how successfull ventures started (and indeed progressed).

And everyone is welcome to ask about kit recommendations - I'll do my best (altho' we're all different in our needs and requirements, to be sure). As I've said before,  if in doubt visit the shop and have a chat. There's nothing like trying new kit on for yourself (as the folks checking out harnesses at the Orpheus last weekend would probably agree).

The problem is not getting suggestions out of me, it's me reminding myself not to get too enthusiastic now that I'm selling kit and not just recommending it to my mates!
