This is an autobiography and desribes Des's adventures in the Caves in UK and the World, he also delves into American Lava Tubes and has adventures in Snowdonian Slate Mines , from being a novice being rescued to be being a qualified Caving Instructor. There are colour photos some taken by the late Paul Deakin. I had spell in hospital recently and was an excellent read

Indeed I've just had this delivered from Moorebooks.co.uk looks a great read though I've yet to crack the spine.
