Stoney Middleton - Lay-by - Parking suspended

The big lay by (opposite Curry Cottage) on the A623 at Stoney Middleton will be closed from the 11th of July for 19 weeks for works to be carried out to the rock face opposite.

The council are aware that this will impact parking for cavers/climbers and are asking that people park responsibly and safely when trying to find an alternative location

Didn't that used to be the greasy spoon emporium known as the Lovers Leap café?
That and similar steamy window places caused me to change from failing to climb on rocks in the rain to climbing on them in the dark and covered in mud!
