Suitable charger for my eneloops

On the recommendation of Biff, I have got some eneloops to go with my custom duo inserts. I bought a pack of 4 off amazon which came with a white, four cell charger, After losing one of the batteries I bought another 8 standard eneloops and 4 of the super max black ones.

What I have only just found out is the charger doesn't have smart technology, the charging cycle has an automatic timer which cuts out after 16 hours, not wanting to bugger up my new batteries I wondered if anyone has recommendations for a good charger?

Varta 57048 - Charges any odd number of cells (up to 4, but not necessarily in pairs of 2), has all the tidbits (Delta-V, temperature sensor, ...) and also USB in/out, plus it comes with a power supply that works worldwide (100-240V). It also used to come with a 12V cigarette lighter adapter, not sure whether that's still included, but I assume it would still accept one without releasing the magic smoke...

I seem to remember various favourable comments being made recently on candlepowerforums regarding the 8-way Vapex smart charger.
I have a different 8-way smart charger (no longer available) and I find it very convenient having 8 bays rather than 4.

I do also have a Maha charger/analyser, but I find I very rarely use the analyser part of it.

Out of interest, what was the model number of the charger that came with the cells, and was that model number mentioned in the product description?
