Looking out of the window today in the Dales I'd say we still are having to survive an ice age!

Nah, that's weather not climate. Come back on this when you're under a kilometre of ice.  ;)

Would have to build up 33.3m of ice per year till 2043. That's a lot of snow - mind you judging by today's weather, we might get there yet.

Technically we are in an ice age, but its a warmer interglacial period at the moment.

Program was very interesting. Some of the art shown was exquisite, even by modern standards. I'd like to see the exhibition at the British Museum.
