Apparently the the website is taken from a short story called "The Terror in Hupman's Cave" by Thomas Lera, written in 1987.

After reading that i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tempted to write up all my digging trips in Ted's spooky style and post them on here, then go digging one day and disappear from the forum....

anyone want to do the same or is this just me?
