Just wondering if anyone has seen lame film The Descent (about female cavers who get eaten by Gollum lookalikes). Basically I am in the mood to take the piss, as I can't understand why all the women needed to wear full make-up when they were going underground and more to the point why weren't they dressed in crap caving suits with proper wellies. Hollywood caving - what a pile of arse...

This has been discussed before somewhere - I thought it was ok - the caving scenes were as realistic as you could hope for in that sort of film.

Aye that should take care of the CHUDS but what happens if the CHAVS turn up? I wonder, would an ice axe be sufficient to slice through their tight weave Burberry check caving suits? I doubt it.
How does one kill a CHAV anyway? I come from Hounslow so technically that makes me one of this loathed breed. Al the same I would sooner admit to being a chav than an Othello enthusiast (see IDLE chat forum for Stupots scary post) although it is probably a close run thing.

For your information it's real life as one of the original cave dwelling cannibals was my Uncle Sid. The whole film was based on his book 'The Starving Shadow Munchkins' which tells the story of a his great great great grandfather who fell down a well and liked it so much he decided to stay there. At first things were great because people kept throwing money at him and one day some woman threw herself at him too. So they got married in the well and bred some weird looking kids who rather unfortunately turned on their parents and ate them. And then because they were obviously evil changed colour to puce and ran off into the tunnels and then evolution took over at a highly accelerated rate, and then a bunch of people (not wearing make-up) wandered into the caves and became breakfast lunch and dinner for the 'Shadow Munchkins.' And yeah I really need to get out more...
