Founded in 2003, the journal "Speleogenesis and Evolution of Karst Aquifers" was the first online karst and cave science journal with full open access. By some reasons, the UIS KHS Commission decided, after careful deliberation and extensive dialogue during the meeting in Brno (July 2013), to cease the journal publication.
