The New Inn, Priddy.

I prefer the Queen Vic, but the landlord of the New Inn did a few of us a good turn when some car keys were lost on a caving trip...he kept the pub open for us, served us beer on a tab (money locked in the car) and kept us in the warm in our wet caving gear until spare keys arrived (which took ages!).  He hung out with us while we waited and was a very nice chap.  But yeah, Queen Vic = better pub imo

Sad to hear he didn't get it back on it's feet, he was a nice chap.

It's no problem in a rear wheel drive car. I used to do it regularly in a Volvo 940.

Here's a photo of the New Inn, taken by me in about 1965. It was a lovely old pub before they stuck bits onto it but then it was rather "cosy" inside previously :-

I hope the castle of comfort doesn't change too much, I have eaten / drunk there many times and couldnt see anything wrong with it. Was always busy at weekends.

Never used the New Inn that much; no real reason why....
