The new Northern caves guide

Does anyone know when this will be ready?

The last I heard was  'aiming for Christmas (2014) for the final proofs', I don't want to keep bugging Sam so wondered if anyone has any news?

We are hoping that the first of the three volumes, will be ready in the summer, the end is in sight.

Work on the project is continuing, but is a bigger job than expected.

You're doing a terrific job.  I hope there will be some recognition of the incredible amount of work that is involved in modern guide book writing.  There should be a Tratman in it at least

I agree with Badlad on the Tratman award, but for 2016. I think there is another very good book that deserves it this year.

from what I am led to believe it is the Northern caves 1, 2 & 3 equivalent (although the upcoming first volume covers NC3)

The sump index is in the process of being produced, I eagerly await my copy.

Northern Caves; the above is what I heard, book 3 will be the first one released.

Interesting times ahead for northern cavers.
