Yes they said it would never happen.

The Snakes on tour again.

The side of the Yellow robin reliant could read  Spain,France, Yorkshire. But at last under great duress the snake is going darn sarff in the UK.
So I now rely on you my southern peers to help me in locating good accomodation and a list of must do caves. ( I know I could research this for my self , but theys now't like local knowledege ) as we say in't north

Looking at a couple of weeks sometime in August/September will have trailer tent for comfort so campsite list required, SHMBO coming on the tour so odd night under proper roof would not go amiss so accomodation list also required B+B that sort of thing. Plan to do trip every other day so about 6 trips in total around the Mendip area. Caving mate coming down for couple of days, but will be on my own for at least half of the caving so some solo Trips will be inevitable. Also any interesting things to do on days not caving

Any genuine info gratefully recieved

Mendip Heights Camp/Caravan site at Priddy is ideally located. I stayed there about ten years ago with the family for a weekend - can't recall anything adverse about it. It gets busy, though, and it isn't a huge site. May be worth checking if you need to book in advance.

Well with a moniker like racing snake - the top trip surely has to be Eastwater round trip
