The UK-wide "guess where?" thread

And as for cheating and looking at url, not on that picture as I changed the name to something else!

Ah, but you can see what the website is that it is on, and then browse the galleries until you find the right image. Sneaky me.  :sneaky:

I would very much like to rig the alternative route one day, once I have more experiance

It is a superb rigging trip - make sure you rig and de-rig for maximum pendulum effect, a la Rowten stylee!.....

Yep, there is that option too.. The way around that would be a picture that isn't on a gallery!  ;)

Andy Sparrow was right, the picture I posted was indeed in Ogof Draenen. It is the Medusa's children formations in the Dollimore series, a very beautiful part of the cave.
So Andy can definitely post a picture now, although Paul seems to have posted up a picture when it wasn't his go  :spank: Maybe the forum pedant can explain the rules!

Sigh!!!! The rules are pretty simple. He/she who first guesses correctly can post the next picture. If they are unable or incapable of posting a picture then they should say so and its first come first served. One guess per post per person, until the guess is confirmed correct or incorrect. And if the person who guessed correctly fails to provide an image within 24 hours, they forfeit their go.

Guidelines:

Try to post a piccie where the image name doesn't give the game away. There are image-hosting websites you can use to upload your picture, if you don't have access to a website of your own. Ukcaving has a gallery, but I think it's in a coma on the long-term critical list at the moment.
Don't be ridiculously obscure - a patch of mud on the floor of an anonymous cave is plain silly, or a hole that's in a part of the country where nobody ever goes is also not really playing the game. Try to keep it within the UK.
It doesn't have to be underground. It could be cave-related landscape, or perhaps part of a club hut. Use your imagination! Keep it interesting.

It's not Shatter. I reckon it's probably Charterhouse Warren Farm Swallet cos the stalagmites in there are distinctively "top-heavy" and the ones in the picture seem to fit the description well.
