...some cynics have questioned our motives in setting this site up.
There is no financial motive behind this, a group of four Derbyshire cavers have stumped up the cash for the domain names, and I'm fortunate enough to have access to database-enabled webspace and I work as a web-developer, so the rest of my input is also free.
We want this to become a useful focal point for the uk caving community as a whole. There are many individual club sites, but no common platform apart from uk.rec.caving, and we thought that this kind of thing is an improvement....although some would disagree :wink:
