Titan actual pitch lengths

Hey folks, can anyone actually tell me what the exact figures are in meters for the two pitch lengths? Not rope required, but just the height of rope to descend / prussik?

I assume the 141 meters that people refer to is from the top of the choke to the highest point in the roof?

According to the survey data, it's:

• 58m from floor to Event Horizon Y-hang
• 8m (vertical contribution) from Y-hang to floor on Event Horizon
• 62m from floor to top Y-hang
• Then 46m up the internal shaft

That's great thanks chaps, yeah was a fantastic trip still not written my report yet! Need to get back there and explore off the EH and wouldn't mind looking at the dig just below the entrance pitch too

Had a bit of fun with paint package mostly show my other half the enormity of the shaft... Gonna get a friend hopefully to tidy it up then use it at our (DCC) club stall on open weekends etc... I got the shape of the cavern by tracing the recent survey done by Dave Nixon??

Only issue is a discrepancy of the height of the observation platform on the Blackpool tower. Only source I get is 115 meters but it is closer to the 120-odd meters of the small entrance passage... I don't think the diagram of the tower can be that far out so anyone got any idea's?? I wonder if the flag pole is not to scale or maybe a newer pole / antenna is longer??

Well Blackpool is indeed west of titan, should make a stunning through trip.

Think we'd need to install extra secure gates at the blackpool end haha...
