Just seen this after someone at work saw it on Teletext. :(

Our deepest sympathies go out to her family and those that knew her.

I was the same, it was someone at work who asked me about it and I knew nothing, a quick search revealed the rather unfortunate news :(

Deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends.

So sad, thankfully rare, but it could happen to anyone anytime, new or experianced.

I was just up the m6 at Carrock Mine at the time.

Sympathy also to those who were with her. To be there and yet impotent is a thing that will be with you forever.

It is always sad to hear of the death of any caver......

Deepest sympathy to her family and all those who knew her.

Through times in my life, the darkness I wondered,
And explored the beauty of the deep underground.
The excitement, the wonder and the shear exhiliration,
For the love of a sport that I've found.

But now through death, I will wonder no more,
Within the darkness that's darker than night.
For now with the love of those who surround me,
I will explore with a light that's so bright.
