Matienzo explorers in the 1980's will remember long, tiring trips into the Trident Passages at the far end of Cueva Hoyuca (Uzueka). The passages were re-visited at Christmas 2023 through the Torca la Decepción entrance in Matienzo and the first ever photos and videos were taken there by Diane Arthurs and Simon Cornhill. Pick word combinations from large / gypsum / walking / passage / stunning and you have an idea of the passage quality. A half-hour video, well worth watching!

What a great video from Si and Di - thanks guys. If I was 40 years younger I would want to join them on their next trip and see that wonderful passage for myself. At least this video gives me a very good idea of what I'm missing!

Wonderful video, great to view, so now I don't have to go back! I had only previously seen these passages with a flickering dull carbide. The last visit in '91 being eventful in more ways than one.
