Tudor farm BBC2 - does anyone know where the mine is?

Last night (Wed) the Tudor farm programme on BBC2 featured lead mining and smelting.  The farm is in Sussex but there was a bit of film which showed them excavating an entrance in woods which appeared to go into at least 1,000ft (according to the presenter) of mine workings with a stope where they extracted a barrowful of ore.  They then demonstrated how to smelt ore, probably at a location quite a distance from the mine.  Did anyone recognise either location?

They filmed a lot of it in Snailbeach lead mine and showed the Stiperstones ridge where they would have smelted lead however as the latter is a sssi the smelting was done elsewhere
