Underground Communications Equipment

I need to replace the phones on both sides of Ink Sump and ideally add a 3rd at the dig face, I would like to fit a simple intercom system consisting of a mic, speaker and bell, operated by a push button.
One at each location using the twin cable that is already in place.
I would like to power it off a battery, any ideas welcome ? Jim

Someone recently posted this up on a group chat I’m in, I think they could be a caver in or near to Poland, but cannot be sure. They go by the name of kravietz on the chat channel

At the ECRA conference in Rudice (Czech Republic) in 2022 and in discussion with Giuseppe Conte and Dinko Novosel, it was thought that a comprehensive list of

It’s a doc put together by Pete allwright outlining all of the different cave radio systems known about.

From my memory of looking at it a couple of weeks ago it goes into the current status quo of wired and wireless cave radio systems. And Pete’s a man I would trust to have his ear to the ground on this.
