the ultimate in cave food of course had to be the SHUCC Christmas dinner down Hillocks, formal dress, christmas tree, fairy lights, sounds system and a full Christmas dinner.

:wink: No No Nuts Rasins - Mustela Nivalis and while I`m on don`t forget to book your place at the BCRA dinner - that will be a feast as well - Somerset Chicken - so the chef tells me !

I've always found Jordans Fruesli Bars to be good cave food. They are nice and moist and have dried fruit for instant energy and oats for a bit of a longer term boost. They go well with Lucozade pouches although the pouches seem to be hard to find these days.

cans of stuff can be quite good - like those extremey bad for you hunger break breakfasts and full monty type things - especially if they have a ring pull and you don't have to attack them with the sharpest stone you can find!!
