no, that's what was left behind by the lead miners.

Hammers are dig sites, ranging from "if we haven't found anything else in 50 years time we might have a look :ras:"  to "in progress and 95% certain to go  :eek:"
 
Stainsby's Shaft and Blackmoor Shaft are two names for the same spot.

You can see its big entrance grill on the Google imagery.
