I can't quite make out the volume.  What is it, and how does it rank against published figures of the Frozen Deep and Gaping Gill?  Not that I want to get into an argument about what is and isn't a chamber but Titan is a impressive void.

Just so no one is confused - there is a Titan Chamber in China (2.53Mm3), but this is about Titan in Derbyshire  :)

I was going to mention that but figured that if it was in the Derbyshire section it would be self explanatory. So yes, Titan in Derbyshire.

Sorry it's a bit vague but it reads 51,530 cubic meters. Pretty pathetic compared to what's going on in China, but there you go.

In terms of comparisons to other 'chambers' (and I don't want to get into that argument either). I've been informed that TFD is 39328 and GG is 45,449 but I'm happy to be corrected.

The thing that has always 'got' me about Titan (Derbyshire) is the double whammy. GG & TFD were 'blimey that's big' on the day they were entered. So was Titan - but then they climbed up beyond the event horizon ...

Yes, what a fantastic trip that was. The highlight of my caving career!
