Wanted an unwanted Oversuit

Nothing fancy expected, but my chum is seeming pretty interested in caving, and wants to move on from waterproofs to an oversuit though a new suit is too much for me to gift someone, I'm thinking if a old suit which can be patched up is floating in anyones garage it would be a reason to get involved further with caving as an activity.

He's about 5'10" with a bit of a gut.  The last time we went he wore the ppe issue stuff from work which is over trousers and jacket which seemed to work ok, but did feel like we were working for Defra or something!

Not quite big enough for 5'10" I reckon but I've got 3 pre-loved, almost certainly repairable oversuits sitting on a shelf here.

Thank you Elaine and CapnChris, though Chris if I've a shorter friend I'll be in touch.

Elaine, what size belly do you think it would fit? Or do you know what brand size it is? I'll see if it's dimension fit Glenn.

He tells me its a christmas gut, so might not be too much of an issue?

I'm in York, Axbridge sounds a long way away, would you be ok to post it?  We're caving early Feb, well Feb 10th.

Hi Ian. I have sent you a pm - it is a Warmbac size large. Plenty big enough to fit round me. Which is not much help if you don't know what I look like!

I cant help you out with a suit but I possibly *can* help you with the sizing..

I'm 5'10'' and weigh (ahem) fifteen stone. You would describe my beer gut as well-cultivated over many years ::)  In warmbac I take a size large undersuit and an extra-large oversuit. They fit well enough although are perhaps a little long in the leg on the oversuit.

Was going to buy a cordura suit next week so if there is still some used ones kicking around then more than happy to recycle one - for a few quid of course and postage! Same 5'10" but under 12 stone.
