Wanted - old rope

Anyone in the dales area have any retired rope they could donate to me? My wife has informed me I will be teaching her Cubs knot tying in July.... Condition/type totally unimportant as it will be chopped up into 2 metre lengths and never used in any vertical environment.
I can't afford to pay any postage but would be more than happy to pick it up from the 3 peaks area at a time suitable for both of us (hopefully a weekend if possible)

Cheers,

My wife has muttered about my holdings of old rope so I was thinking of doing a partial clearance and what better than to give it to some Cubs.  I have a small amount left over from rope testing totalling over 100m of 10 & 11mm.  (Roughly 16 by 2m, 8 by 4m, 2 by 6m, 2 by 8m 1 by 12m and 1 by 32m.)  Some of it is rather rigid so may not be suitable for neat knots.  I can deliver it to the Craven cottages either this weekend or certainly by Wednesday next week.  Most of it is dirty so it will need washing.

Damian, thanks for your kind offer but for ease of collection I'll go with Bobs offer...

Bob, it would be fantastic if you could drop the rope off at the cottages and leave a note for me on the blackboard saying where the rope can be found. I'll not be down till next weekend but I'm sure it'll be safe....

Many thanks to the both of you, much appreciated. (y)

It will be in Bridge End by next Wednesday 30th in a green Inglesport bag with your name on it.  Unfortunately I am elsewhere for weekends of 2nd and 9th June so can't meet up with you to do a direct handover.  (I will inform our hut warden so as to avoid his efficient cleaning process.)

Bob, you're a star!
It'll be my pleasure to stand you a pint next time we're both at the cottages.

Now all I have to do is worry about how to teach 15 cubs the fine art of knot tying...
