Looking for an ecrin roc if anyone has one to sell? Cosmetic condition not important as long as it's functionally sound! Money waiting.

Ebay - get one off a climber because (a) it'll be in WAY better condition and (b) they don't realise how good they are for caving, and they always tend to opt for the newer hybrid light-weight ones, whereas cavers probably won't part with theirs unless you're offering about a hundred quid.

But I wonder which helmet might have the most life left in it?
The one that's been used in the dark or the one that's spent much more of its life exposed to UV during its life?

Climbers only go outside 4 or 5 times a year in the UK because the weather's pants. Buy an ex-climbers Ecrin Roc and then only use it underground. Should last for a thousand years and give plenty of hours of begrudged useful service.

More importantly I have probably banged my head more times on every caving trip I have ever done than I have ever done climbing...
