At the moment they'll be fine, but be very cautious of heavy rain ... it will cause rapid and major rises in water levels.

I was underground a week ago, the levels were a little bit higher than usuall but it had been bucketing it down the day before. Nothing alarming though.

Water levels will have been up and down considerably over the last week or so, as there has been some very heavy rain. The most recent of this was on Friday and levels had dropped back to reasonable by Sunday. Rain seems to be forecast for Thursday, so be careful on Thursday / Friday.

Water levels can change rapidly depending on local weather. It would be best to give Inglesport or Bernie's a ring the day before if possible to see what the recent weather had been like and also what the likelihood of rain is on the day you're planning your trip.

FWIW, I was in the Dales the weekend before last and had a trip to the bottom of Alum Pot and back out via Lower Long Churns on the Saturday. Water levels were low. But it rained on Saturday and Sunday morning and most likely water levels were no longer low on Sunday, which is why we ended up at Sell Gill Holes doing the Fossil Route. Even this had water flowing on the entrance pitch after the couple of hours or so we were underground despite having none while we were descending.
