That's the place Langcliffe. Arson shaft, Lancaster Hole(Start of the Magic Roundabout) I was 100% sure you would get it.

Magic Roundabout is a fine trip (in the right conditions).

Try this. One little clue - it's in Notts Pot. Precise location, please.

Well done! It is the top of Birthday Pot - viewed from the other side of the oxbow that leads to the bolts.

On the current topo it shows you can use a bolt deviation to avoid this bit. Is it a better option? - because this is awkward whatever angle you come at it.

I remember doing it from that near side when it was on spits using a deviation, and it was a lot easier. However, I have never spotted the deviation since doing it on P-hangers..

Not been down there for a long time; it was the side inlet (Rumbling Beck Cave?) which jogged my memory.

OK, let's see if anyone can recognise this resurgence. Folk may need some clues; first one, it's in the Dales.
